Paul van Dyk and Ciaran McAuley combine forces to create a transcendent and euphoric new single “Someone Like You” - available to stream from VANDIT Records on July 28th.
“Someone Like You '' is an instantly classic - the signature van Dyk thumping 4/4 beat is ever present, driving a path to serenity with glorious atmospheres and synths that tingle throughout the soul. This is the definition of emotional instrumental electronic music at its finest.
“Someone Like You” comes at a time of tremendous activity for van Dyk. Earlier this month he kicked off the Ibiza season at SHINE Ibiza at Club Eden (he also released the club’s official anthem song, “Beautiful Life”), while earlier this year he launched his exciting new VENTURE X tour concept where this master DJ and curator sources from the finest trance, progressive house, and techno music available and brings it all together during one incredible evening. The rest of the summer will be filled with exciting new original releases and tour dates on the road toward van Dyk’s much-anticipated studio album, Off The Record.
As a standalone Producer/DJ and formerly as one half of renowned trance duo Walsh & McAuley, Ciaran (pronounced Kier-ran) McAuley has been responsible for some of the most scene-seizing music to arrive in the recent times and this talented Irishman is leading the charge of nu-breed talent breaking out into the mainstream. With the release of successful singles such as recent VANDIT single ‘Together We Rise’ and his most renowned tracks
‘All I Want’ and ‘You and I’, he is garnering support from fans and fellow artists worldwide.

‘ You & I ‘ a real life short film of her nuptials to acclaimed filmmaker Taika Waititi in their whimsical home in the city of lost Angels last year. Many speculated on how mum the two have been since tying the knot but judging by the immense work Rita was putting in to her latest album, there is no question to what the power couple have been up to!
Rita has expressed her frustration with album creation recently inking a deal allowing her creative control. ‘You & I’ was not about creating chart stoppers but creating a project from the heart. Authentic emotion outlining her love, devotion & heartache through heart stopping moments in life. An authentic ode to her reality of a beautiful young lady learning to humbly step into womanhood with grace and beauty. No longer chasing but receiving all the abundance life has to offer.
Rita is not only a singer, songwriter & producer but she is also an aspiring actress. Starring in several movies to date Rita’s latest role is in the fantasy film ‘ WONDERWALL ‘ acting alongside Carrie Fisher. The June 2023 release is a fantastical tale of a 12 year old girl caught between two worlds. Rita Ora’s has proven she is a force to be reckoned with. I am sure she is not stopping anytime soon. Proving she has had all the ingredients to create a life she is surely proud of.
No doubt ‘ You & I ‘ has become a chart stopper nonetheless. Re Rubbing Fatboy Slims ‘ Praise You ‘ Reinventing the track now titled ‘ Praising You’ has reached #1 on American Dance charts catapulting her new album ‘ You and I ‘ to the forefront of summer releases. This is Ritas moment. Marrying a filmmaker is just the set up audiences needed to have a birds-eye view of her special day. Why not save it for the music video. No acting here. Rita is truly in love and we are happy to see it. Recently posing in Aussie Vogue with her new husband is all the power couple vibes we need! Congratulations Mrs. in order.
