Continuing to deliver with an eclectic mix of classic hiphop and commercial rap, 'BOOP' is a sonically charged playful track, laced with the storytelling and genre breaking flips Piers has become known for.

Friday 31^st March 2023, London – Today, multi-platinum-selling rapper, Professor Green, returns officially from paternal leave with new single, “POP SHXT” featuring fellow heavyweight emcee K Koke. The new track premiered on DJ Target’s 1Xtra show last night. Listen HERE.

 

The new single, produced by Greatness Jones, seesGreen and Koke riffing off one another back-to-back in true Hip Hop fashion. A collaboration in the true sense of the word, and just a snapshot of what this formidable pair have been working on together in the studio recently.

 

“POP SHXT” is the lead title track to be lifted from Professor Green’s forthcoming POP SHXT EP, (due for release this summer), and heralds in a new chapter in the MOBO and NME Award winner’s career. On his first release with independent label partner, Cooking Vinyl, Green concludes: “To join a label so renowned, offering me the freedom to release music at the momentum I’ve been itching to tickles me in all the right places.
