Over the past few months, iconic dance figure Hardwell has been delivering heavy-hitting release after release. Now, he’s at it again with a new firepower dancefloor destroyer, this time in the form of ‘ZERO GRAVITY’.
The track’s intro begins, “Ready for take off in 5,4,3,2,1, zero gravity”, and rolls straight into a booming loop of beats and electronic carnage before the pressure is alleviated. Then, allowing for a fizzing of swirling static sonics before Hardwell hits the launch button and the track hits full velocity once again.
‘ZERO GRAVITY’ adds to an assembly of sturdy dancefloor bombs from the Revealed label boss since his official return to the stage in March this year. Since then, Hardwell’s demonstrated a tougher-edged persona with his musical output as the buildup towards his new album REBELS NEVER DIE continues in full effect.

Inside the Atelier ~ Meta Morphism collection
Zooming into the story, the innovation and the craftsmanship that the passionate team has created over the last 6 months.
Special thanks to our atelier team, Klarenbeek & Dros and Casey Curran.
Holding a lens to our intangible identities and shifting society with posthumanism and hyperreality at the horizon, this collection explores the depths of the body in future realities.
The leitmotif of van Herpen’s history expresses the body in a state of permanent flux, metamorphosing with the milieu, and while the Maison is regarded for its futuristic approach, this season the designer reflects on Ovid's Magnus opus poem ‘Metamorphoses’, written around the 8th century.
At the time of Ovid’s writing, the act of metamorphosis was appreciated in relation to humanity and its place amongst nature, yet Ovid’s retelling exists relevant today, navigating the ramifications of technology that is constantly complicating the definition of identity. With the ability to recreate our digital twins, the space of soul-searching, losing a sense of self, and finding new realities, are life lessons.
With the new realms of our digital lives expanding, we are faced with an eternally rhetorical question: who are we beyond our physical bodies? Is the digital you shaping your pre-existing compass?
Through 'Meta Morphism’, Van Herpen expresses the body as an elusive system, rooted in transcience, and speaks to a greater message of introspection.

Mandidextrous Returns to RAM Records Sister Label ProgRAM
Mandidextrous has not just inserted their own coined subgenres within the back catalogue of ProgRAM. But they’ve also smashed rigid paradigms as well as risen to prominence as part of the mentorship scheme of the 30 year strong sister-label RAM Records and EQ50, the collective redressing the gender balance within drum & bass. After showcasing a mammoth number of tour dates, which included last year’s XOYO RAM Records show in London, they make a return this year with another packed out festival season and a brand new single ‘Express Yourself / Radiator’ alongside fellow Bristolian Matt Scratch. With the latest string of successes coming as no surprise after being labelled as part of the 'Ones to Watch' segment this year by BBC Radio 1.
The first out of two brand new tracks from Mandidextrous, ‘Express Yourself’ kicks into play first. Beginning on a more melodic vein which pays homage to their host of reworks, ‘Express Yourself’ takes you deep into murkier bass levels, world’s away from the the 4/4 section of their production. The flipside presents you with ‘Radiator’ featuring Matt Scratch, back on the chiseled grooves and clubbing kicks which help Mandidextrous command dancefloors. So once again, it’s time to get with the ProgRAM. Opening the door for a new era of drum & bass in 2022.
