Blaufield bosses Booka Shade partner with fellow German talent Jan Blomqvist as they deliver their debut collaboration ‘Blaze’.
.
A producer and live act with EPs and albums via the likes of Stil vor Talent, Anjunadeep and Armada, Berlin-based artist Jan Blomqvist shares a similar path and journey into electronic music as Booka Shade – fusing his early band experiences and performances within punk, Britpop and rock with electronic experimentation influenced by the sounds and sonics of artists such as Stephan Bodzin, James Holden and Trentemøller to name just a few. His next musical venture sees him pair up alongside the legendary Blaufield Music bosses as they reveal their debut collaboration, ‘Blaze’.
The ‘80’s inspired ‘Through The Night’ pairs the original back to unveil a synth-fuelled slice of nostalgic electronica delivered in expert fashion.
Ram Records is set to announce a brand-new LP from Killbox, the duo comprising of Audio and Ed Rush who are renowned for pioneering the genre’s darker roots. Together they embark on their second album on the Ram platform, bringing their legendary production to provide another savage body of work.
‘Epicentre’ marks the beginning of this new journey and it rolls out in typical Killbox fashion. With a grinding flow of bass and an intro inspired through rising notes alongside machine-like atmospherics, ‘Epicentre’ drops into a dark, guttural breakdown. It’s your first step into Killbox’s forthcoming ‘Devine Profits’ album and it signals at another epic track list.

The brand-new album from heavyweight production outfit Fourward has finally arrived on Elevate Records, following the critical success of their earlier ‘Hope’
EP. The Austrian duo are notorious for their streamlined sound,
something which enabled them to grow from local DJs in their home city
to touring internationally. Having released on a plethora of labels, Elevate is
where they’ve been able to crossover into the mainstream, despite never
watering down their sound. With support from the likes of Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, where the ‘Hope’
EP’s title track received no less than 10 spins, their profile has
grown and with it has come an audience waiting patiently for their next
body of work.
Vocalist Charlotte Haining then joins Fourward for the emotive layers of ‘Let Me Down’, followed by ‘How’ alongside Dakota Six, who once again pulls at the heart strings. Finally, Fourward returns to their chaotic side with ‘What it is’ with Bristol kingpin Jakes, flicking the switch and introducing you to one of their most diverse track lists to date. Together with Elevate, Fourward take you into the new era of their production. And they’ve not been afraid to show case how far their talent stretches.
This is Fourward's Levels, taken from their album Lose Control.
