Justin Martin - Cicada (Claude VonStroke Remix)
decided to try and take it and totally freak it out Dirtybird style on
the remix. At the time I was influenced by both DJ Gregory’s afrohouse
music AND the big baselines coming out of the UK. It's a very weird
combination of styles. It almost came out like a Nirvana type
arrangement where they start everything really soft and then hammer in
with the chorus and then get soft again and the loud again. When I
listen to it now I can hear how unafraid I was to try out new ideas.
It’s a really fun remix and I had a great time making it way back then.

What could be more obvious than doing a BMX edit in a country where the
average person pedals more than 500km a year? In Denmark - a country
that has ranked as the happiest in the world in for several years,
biking is a way of life. Kyle took full advantage of the laid-back
lifestyle and love of all things two-wheels to explore some of the
wildest and best places to visit in the Scandinavian country of Denmark.
His three-week journey saw him travel to the likes of Copenhagen,
Aarhus, Jutland, Løkken, Falster Island, Møn Island and Klampenborg and
perform tricks like paragliding with his bike onto a beach, ride in an
underwater aquarium with sharks and take his bike on rollercoasters,
cliffs, boats and planes.
