Through humorous interviews with video sweethearts and director Nathan Boey, fans can catch an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Keys N Krates’ official music video “Music To My Ears (featuring Tory Lanez).” With packed-schedules and international tour dates, the band had the fun idea of using puppets in the official music video. Lanez’s puppet-self proves to be just as charming and swagged out as the R&B star himself, and you can’t help but crack a smile when you see puppet reincarnations of Keys N Krates killing their live set.
Since forming a decade ago in their native Toronto, Keys N Krates have carved their own path via a bass-centric, sample-driven sound which melds the realms of electronic, hip-hop and beyond. Reflecting a sonic evolution many years in the making, Cura sees Keys N Krates evolving from revered instrumental beat-makers into musically sophisticated producers and songwriters. On June 10, 2018, Steve Aoki and the Dim Mak crew descended upon Brooklyn Mirage to present "Dim Mak Neighborhood." In full effect, the mini-festival included stellar performances from Steve Aoki, Carnage, Smokepurpp, Dada Life, QUIX, Ricky Remedy, Max Styler, R3LL, Bok Nero, Noise Cans, as well as surprise guests like Lil Jon, Zoey Dollaz, Louise Chantál. Fireworks were lit, bottles were popped, cakes were thrown, and memories were made. Shouts to everyone who came out and put their bass face on with us!

Magnetude’s formative single ‘Snatch / Signals’ marked the beginning of their relationship with Ram Records. The Anglo-Russian hybrid was brought together through their mutual love of music and this is evident through each one of their sonic imaginings. Their incredible production standard and attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed by drum & bass figurehead Ram, as their cross-pollination of influences filtered through their meticulously fashioned compositions. After spending the last year solidly working on their unique blend of dance music, they had their defining moment on the drum & bass behemoth, which is now being followed in quick succession by forthcoming record ‘Aracde’.
‘Arcade’ has already been doing the rounds, becoming a signature within the duo’s sets throughout the world. The 8-bit breakdown and synth-layered crescendos take you through each track switch, as you’re pulled deeper and deeper into a pin-ball machine of evilly-laughing samples amongst fast-paced beat patterns. Magnetude demonstrate that there’s more to come following their sophomore release and that this is only the beginning for a pair who’ve spent years sharing their craft online. With the backing of an imprint that has had twenty five years to define their roster, Magnetude are a welcome addition to Ram’s genre-shaping catalogue.
