Drum and Bass pioneer SILENT WITNESS delivers a pointed and artfully crafted pair of tracks in the form of ARGONAUT and DROP IT, arriving on the continually evolving MethLab platform. Silent Witness is an artist who has been an almost invisible but essential force in the evolution of tech-oriented d&b that retains a funk edge and an utterly precise ethic. The artful employment of his deep knowledge of audio manipulation is clearly visible in both tracks, embodied in the full, rich sound and their driven, powerful edge.
One of the core artists in the MethLab collective, Silent Witness follows up the relentless 'Ambush' from their Revenant VA and the incredibly popular 'High Flyer' that appeared on MethLab vol.1 (released on Bad Taste Recordings). He has graced an impressive array of labels in his long-running career, including Metalheadz, Critical Music, Dispatch and Commercial Suicide. His impact on the drum & bass scene has been long and deep, and with these 2 tracks signifying a new wave of material (and rumours of his debut LP) from one of the scene's most compelling creators, that mark is only set to deepen further.
Silent Witness - 'Argonaut // Drop It' - follows up Disphonia's 'Disintegrate // Code Red' and is the next in an impactful series of singles arriving on MethLab Recordings. It's also the first official release to arrive exclusively to members of the MethLab Inner Core, an extended subscription service for those closest to the label, 4 weeks in advance of the official release date.

Major Lazer - Drops Only @Reading Festival 2017
Wonderland Scarehouse Project 2017 Lineup
FINAL RELEASE Tickets are on-sale - Only $79 from www.wonderlandscarehouseproject.com
Alison Wonderland is coming home this summer with a highly anticipated sophomore album so good it will kill you dead. To celebrate the inevitable chart domination she’s slashing and burning her way through Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland with her most spine-tinglingly immersive project yet, WonderlandScarehouseProject.
Running amok through never-before-used haunted farmlands, WonderlandScarehouseProject promises to be a blood chilling experience like nothing you have ever witnessed. Splattered across horror movie fields, WonderlandScarehouseProject will feature a massive collection of international and local artists, hand-picked by the Queen of Scream herself.
It’s the only thing you’d expect from an artist so formidable no four walls can contain her anymore. The new project comes off the back of Alison’s the terrifyingly successful WonderlandWarehouseProject, which has stalked its way through two sold out laps of the country since 2014.
“The WonderlandWarehouseProject was one of my most favourite things to play and curate, it was basically a look into my mind. This will be the next step,” says Alison Wonderland. “As someone who is a music lover for me shows are a way to escape the real world and I want everyone who comes to leave with the same experience. This is the third time we have worked on the warehouse project idea and it’s of course going to be bigger and better every time.”
You will be expected to take a leap of faith to enter the chilling world of WonderlandScarehouseProject. Locations will be completely off the grid, only accessible by a dedicated compulsory phantom bus service. If you trust that nobody throws a party like Alison Wonderland, it’s time to sign up for the fright of your life.
Forget noise complaints. Silence the neighbours. Lynch the lockouts. There are no rules anymore… And inside this chaos we will find our calm.

Killbox return with their next single following the guttural, bass heavy sounds of ‘Neverware’. ‘Cousin of Zilch’ follows a similar disposition, more understated in its approach whilst still snapping between electrifying waves of sonic and a subterranean bassline which pushes the layering to breaking point. When the record drops, you’re thrown down by its sub-heavy, seismic rumbles and it’s the type which creates total devastation inside clubs. The producers once more prove they’re able to switch up their style, moving towards a more imposing composition which focuses on its colossal weight.
The duo has yet to disappoint this year and their reign over the darker realms remains as strong as ever. Nine months since their big reveal, after being shrouded in mystery, they’ve already become a resounding part of the twenty-five-year strong Ram Records roster. Adding track after track of undiluted filth into the mix, history is in the making for this pair. And with a succession of live shows planned across the UK and beyond, including seminal sets at Ram’s 25 year major city tour, expect more audibly menacing appearances from Killbox this winter.
