"The kind of dance music that DJ's like Andy Weatherall would turn people onto or the Talking Heads would delight the New York uber cool clubs with" says Eddie Gordon (BBC Essential Mix).
Punchy beats, loony tune hooks, dub basslines and gospel tinged soul-rock vocals are resplendent on this forthcoming new Cabinet Of Millionaires single “SERVE ME (ft Pat Fulgoni)” - a scathing attack on the mockery of Prime Ministers Questions #PMQs. Don't get us started on the #tvdebates. Turn it Up! #answermyquestion

'Like I Do' is taken from the upcoming album Mosaic out 23/6/17
Following the release of their most unifying, high profile vocal track ‘LIKE I DO’ with fellow Vienna artist and runaway songwriter sensation James Hersey, Camo (Reini) & Krooked (Markus) have delivered its stunning visual accompaniment. The collaboration between the pair and James Hersey, who’s worked alongside the likes of Dillon Francis and Kygo, is an emotive crossover anthem which signals the dancefloor appeal of their forthcoming album Mosaik, dropping on June 23rd. The video helps to add another dimension to Hersey’s emotive vocal crescendos, with a flickering colour palette, expert photographical shots and a time lapse of the New York skyline. It stands as the perfect follow up to ‘IF I COULD’ and ‘GOOD TIMES BAD TIMES’ equally impressive music videos. With their US tour quickly approaching, where they’ll be a staple part of the line up at Las Vegas’ EDC festival, the duo take you transatlantic alongside another striking video asset. The production outfit are well known for taking as much pride in their music videos as they do in their refined sounds and this addition is a testament to that. Mosaik will prove to be their most startling, detailed and singular body of work yet. The singles leading up to Mosaik have been backed up by an impeccable, detail-rich Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 and a non-stop run of headline dates throughout the year including key events such as Let It Roll, Tomorrowland, Dour, We Are FSTVL, National Drum & Bass Awards, Fabric, Hospitality, Foundry, Detonate, Noisia Invites and their own festival Nuforms, Austria’s only drum & bass two-day festival which they personally curate. But as the dust settles and they set their sights on even further uncharted pastures, you already know that the next 10 years of their journey will be even bigger…
Camo & Krooked return with an impressive second single which once again reinforces their legendary status. The drum & bass stalwarts announced their forthcoming LP in 2016, due to be dropped alongside Ram Records / BMG and the duo’s newly created Mosaik Music record label. This next output signals another step closer until its release.
The talent pedestalled by Salaryman has been proven with every track he’s offered for the Ram Records esteemed compilation series. From the string melodies of Echoes from Nowhere and Waiting for You, through to the harder liquid relays of Nocturnal Stories and My Future, every output he’s had on the label has already solidified his place within its back catalogue. However, next up from the producer comes his first standalone single on the imprint titled Your Love Lifts Me Up and Badman Sound. And it delivers one of the producer’s most diverse releases to date.
For the A-side, Salaryman powers forward with a heartfelt vocal overture filtering through the mix, amongst metallic drums and heavy percussion. Clinking hi-hats help to pad out the composition, with its winding bassline loftily sifting between each drum pattern. Its humanistic elements help dampen any edges, proving that time and time again Salaryman is able to utilise the heavier elements of drum & bass whilst still laying down carefully woven melodies.
Badman Sound presents a flipside to Salaryman not yet unveiled by his releases so far. A charger up call-to-arms which punches harder and harder with every sonic break, it goes for the aural jugular, unafraid in its assault. Layer upon layer of distorted bass, ragga-vocals and elevating beats take you deeper between each segment, with instrumental warbling building its carefully manufactured drops. This is Salaryman at his most unforgiving, tearing up the dancefloor with aggressively tight-knit production.
A step into unknown territories and another notch higher within Ram’s discography, Salaryman’s progression is beginning to raise the bar within not just his career, but also the imprint’s roster.
