Drum and bass duo Delta Heavy have made a triumphant return with the release of their third studio album Midnight Forever

Drum and bass duo Delta Heavy have made a triumphant return with the release of their third studio album, Midnight Forever. This latest offering follows their 2016 debut Paradise Lost and 2019's Only In Dreams. The album looks to the future whilst nodding to the past, drawing on a myriad of influences from UK rave, melodic techno, indie rock and blissful electronica, and is surely their most accomplished and mature body of work to date.

In their own words:

“Midnight Forever encapsulates everything that has brought us to this point: every club, festival, and rave; every hour in the studio, whether frustrating or fruitful; every high and low on this wild journey. It is a tapestry of diverse influences and personal experiences that have guided our musical path. Having experimented with various genres in the past, we see Midnight Forever as our ode to drum and bass, a love letter to the music that captured our hearts as underage teenagers exploring the London scene. The process of writing this album has been cathartic, providing a space for introspection at home and hedonism on the dancefloor. We are immensely proud of the music on Midnight Forever and invite listeners to experience it with us, hoping to offer a timeless escape in a complicated world. The album seeks to create a world where the night never ends, a place of magic and mischief that marks the beginning of a new dawn for us.”

The album's release is preceded by the singles Babylon featuring YOU, Bad Decisions featuring Cameron Warren, Punching Holes, Ecstasy, and Get Down Tonight featuring Hayley May, who returns on final single Never Alone. These tracks have already garnered millions of streams, demonstrating Delta Heavy's underground appeal and solidifying their presence in the wider electronic music scene.  Further collaborations across the album include DnB rising stars Grafix and Subsonic and vocalists Lauren L’aimant, Ethan Holt and Jazmine Johnson.  Midnight Forever has also received widespread support from tastemakers and major radio stations such as BBC Radio 1, George FM, and Kiss FM. Having debuted the album extensively this year across major cities and summer festivals across Europe, North America, New Zealand and Australia, Delta Heavy now embark on the largest global tour of their career, debuting an all new visual experience that explores the world of Midnight Forever.
