“ I wrote Better Days at the end of November 2023 after what felt like the hardest year of my life. As I explain in the song, grief from losing my brother in 2020 had well and truly hit me, and my mental health took a nosedive. I remember sitting at my keyboard, feeling completely numb, and I told myself to just keep going and keep healing and things would get better. It was almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Better Days represents spring after a long, cold winter. It's about coming out of adversity and blooming into something new and beautiful, and loving yourself regardless. I hope it inspires people to keep faith, trust the process of life and fall in love with themselves despite the things they've been through.”
