Rip Malik B Member of East Coast   Iconic Hip Hop group 'The Roots' originating in Philadelphia, PA . Venturing out on his own as a solo artist Malik dropped several solo albums as well as other collaborations over the past 10 years. Returning  to perform with The Roots on occasion . The Roots confirmed Maliks passing via Instagram. The cause of death has not been disclosed.  It is no doubt half of the industry would not be in the business if it was not for the deep influence these talented artist have had on all their fans. Our deepest condolences go out to the family and freinds left behind by Malik.  Peace be with everyone dealing with the loss of a legend.
