With the sound of ‘War Dub’ still reverberating across the scene, Calyx & Teebee are ready with the next sonic weapon in their brand new ‘Plates’ series: ‘Cloak & Dagger.’ Their second single will land on June 19th.
Atmospheric pads give the intro a haunting, almost ethereal feel, building to a drop that will swamp the senses. A razor-edged bassline chops, changes and switches with deft vocal hits weaved deftly in between. ‘Cloak & Dagger’ bears all the hallmarks of Calyx & Teebee’s textured sound.
Building up to their most exciting album project yet, ‘Cloak & Dagger’ is another integral piece in the duo’s evolving musical puzzle.
